Emily Robitschek, an undergraduate major in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, received a Grant-in-Aid from Sigma Xi to conduct research on cancer biology with Dr. T.C. Wu at the John’s Hopkins School of Medicine.  Sigma Xi is an honorary society that promotes scientific research. The society’s Grants-in-Aid program is supported by the National Academy of Sciences, and funds undergraduate and graduate student pursuing research projects across all areas of science.  This is a highly competitive program, with only 184 projects funded out of 1,115 applications in 2014.
