Fluorescence Microscopy Image Analysis Center

Dr. James Bamburg, Director

16 bit digital camera with a zoom lens for capturing images of chemiluminescent gels and blots. A second computer in the facility runs an off-line version of Metamorph and also has a high resolution and rapid flat bed scanner. The microscopic imaging facility has two inverted epifluorescence microscopes. Training and use of the equipment in the macromolecular facility is via Laurie Minamide, and that for the microscopic imaging facility, through Barbara Bernstein.
