Dr. Jim Bamburg, Professor Emeritus, recently received one of four new University awards in Interdisciplinary Scholarship. The Vice President for Research at CSU created the award to recognize either a faculty member or research team whose interdisciplinary scholarship has had a major impact nationally and/or internationally.  Two individual faculty members (one “established” and one “emerging” scholar) and two groups of scholars (established and emerging) were recognized. Each awardee (or team) will receive a plaque of recognition and funding to support the recipient’s research program. In addition, each awardee (or team) will be featured on the Research Wall sponsored by the Office of the VP for Research in the new Lory Student Center.
