Karolin Luger, Colorado State University Distinguished Professor and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator, was named one of eight Fellows of the Biophysical Society, “for her seminal contributions to the structure-function analysis of chromatin biology,” according to the Biophysical Society’s November 2013 newsletter.  “The award honors the Society’s distinguished members who have demonstrated excellence in science, contributed to the expansion of the field of biophysics, and supported the Biophysical Society.”
