The Mentoring Ecosystem

If you haven’t already registered for our Mentor Monday guest speaker presentation on Nov. 6, we highly recommend attending to learn about interventions and strategies for increasing student success. Bring actionable ideas back to your graduate program. The presentation, hosted by the Graduate Center for Inclusive Mentoring, is open to graduate students, post-doctorates, faculty, and staff. Belonging and engagement are consistent predictors of student success, and yet those two factors are not equally experienced among all students. Dr. Werner-Washburne will share: • understanding intentional mentoring • learning key universals that make way for meaningful connections • how to engage and utilize your imagination and build a set of principles to improve communication
